New Additions To My Beauty Family

So since the weather has taken away any piece of joy I had left after such a long winter, I have to bust my mood with shopping :) This time I had a random trip to the drug store and since I got a 15% off coupon, I said What the heck and bought some stuff!

1. Small stash of the day :)

2.  The make up and concealer brush by Ebelin: it was really cheap and although I just recently bought a 32 brushes pack, I've been wanting to get the round foundation brush for a really long time. It's ok to use and it's really soft on you skin so I guess that's a good reason to use it alone :)

3. Sun Matt Bronzing Powder by Catrice: I use it for contouring my face and so far I like it because it is in the perfect bronzing color that's not to dark for my pale skin and doesn't make me break out.

4. Ultimate Repair Instant Hairtherapy by Schwarzkopf: used it already, not blown away by the results. I've been looking for an intense mask that would help my dry and lifeless hair, any suggestions? :)

5. Full Volume Mascara by Bourjois: This mascara really elongates your eyelashes and gives them the volume they need. You have to be careful if you have long eyelashes like I do, that you do not put too many coats on them since the weight of the mascara can bring them down a bit which could have the reverse affect and we don't want that!

6. BB Cream (Miracle Skin Perfector) by Garnier: I love it... I really do.. This is my second bottle, I used it last summer and it was the perfect solution for when you want to look like you have absolutely no make up on! And this is a great thing for anyone that has skin like mine which is full of blemishes, dark spots and bleh, bleh!! Try it out!

*Cover Yourself Up-Maxfactor Pan Stik*

So this is by far the best concealer I have ever had! I've had it since high school (which was many, many, many years ago :)) and I have to say that I really love it.

On the product it says that it is suitable for normal/dry skin. I guess this is because it has a kind of "oily substance" making it less suitable for oily skin. But on the other hand, I tend to have quite oily skin (depends on my level of stress which is on the WTF level more times then I would like it to be) and if you use the right foundation and powder, the Maxfactor Pan Stik works really well as a concealer. If your skin is dry, then you could probably use it as a full on foundation.

Since my skin is so pale that I could easily get the leading role as a sparkling vampire in Twilight I use the lightest color available which is the True Beige n. 12 but it also comes in 2 different, darker colors.


So overall review, a great product, great at concealing imperfections on the skin and really easy to blend out. The only negative remark is the fact that it can come across as a little oily, but that can be handled with the right powder and foundation.
