Fall inspiration

So ince again, I've been really bad... I have been so busy with everything, college, dance lessons and life in general that my blog was, yet again, a victim:) But today I would like to write about (trumpet sound) AUTUMN <3 it is in my top 2 favorite times of the year (alongside XMAS!!) and my mood can instantly get better if I just find the time to sit in a park and watch the leaves change. And don't get me started on fall fashion! Now this is my N.1 favorite way to style because I'm so in love with layering :) I've put together some of my favorite pictures of fall fashion, maybe for a little inspiration ;)

Ok, so you probably also know that HALLOWEEN is coming soon and I'm soooooo excited!! I've been hosting Halloween parties ever since I came back from Canada (about 15 years :)) and I'm gonna write about all my decorations and recipes that I'll be using so don't forget to check my blog ;)

Huge "Accessible Style" Fall Haul

So when it comes to shopping, I'm not your typical fashionista I might say. I find the biggest joy in finding pieces not from the top fashion designers but pieces that are on sale but are still great to style and your wallet is not crying over your shopping spree :) Here are some of the item I've purchased for autumn and you'll see that style isn't just for the ones with the big paycheck but for anyone with a passion for fashion and an eye for the cheapest buy (how poetic of me ;))

 Little red dress :) Summer collection, but just pair it with some boots and a jacket and you should be ok :) it even has a cute cutout on the back!

 Reminds me so much of Canada so I just had to have it!

 Big shirts and sweaters are really big this fall so you can't miss with these two guys

A year of inspiration

So since I consider September to be my "New Year" resolutions month, I have made some decisions about the year that is coming. I really want to change some things and most of all I want to live a little. So one of the changes I'm gonna make is becoming better at my new passion which is graphic design and photography. Its really sad that you find your true calling so late but the least you can do is put as much effort into becoming better at it as you can. Next thing is trying new things. I realized that you learn the most about yourself when you are faced with a new challenge and that is why i want to try as many new things as possible! Find a new passion, do something I've been afraid to do for a long time, say YES to more things and most of all, meet new people! You learn so much from new friends and they introduce you to so many new experiences and opportunities.

One of the most important things in my year of inspiration has to be traveling. I am so passionate about traveling but in connection to my anxiety problems find it hard sometimes. The amount of phicological preparation it takes me to get on a plane is insane! But I have some must have destinations i have to visit in the next year:
-Rome: even though I've been before and didn't like it, I want to go again and view it with different eyes.
-London: I've been like 8times but it's absolutely my favorite European city and I'm so in love with it that I'm seriously thinking about moving there.
-Milan: Fashion, fashion, fashion!!
-Bali and Gili: My boyfriends parents are thinking about moving there and Bali has been a must-have destination of mine for so long so it would be kind of stupid of me not to go :)
- Sweden or Norway: I've never been so that just seems reason enough :)


And the last thing i want to achieve is stop being afraid. Get over my anxiety and depression and realize that my life is in my hands. Even if you believe you're not on the right path, its in your hands or should I say feet :) to change that path. Although I talk a good talk, in reality I'm still not aware of this so it would be just super duper if I coud become aware of this im ny year of inspiration :)

So thats about it. Of course I want to continue to write my blog, gain more readers and maybe, just maybe inspire someone.

Saying goodbye to summer...

So I've spent the past week in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The island Hvar. We stayed in a small fishing town called Jelsa and I can't remember the last time I cried because I had to go home! Had the most chilled out week in a very long time and am already planning on returning next year! I really highly recommend it  :)

Being yourself

Hello Doves,

So I've never really written such a personal post but I really think I should get this out of me. I've had a real struggle in being myself for quite some time now, the main problem being the fact that I'm not able to find myself. All my life I've been designed to follow rules, to obey a system that basically led me from elementary through high school and to the end of college. And now this system is broken among other things due to the fact that I realized, that if I plan to follow this system for the rest of my life, I wont live even a bit. But the feeling of being lost, without any clue where to go from here, where to find yourself, is getting to me.
But still I am positive about the future, believing I will find myself, I will find my passion and I will begin to LIVE. That was one of the reasons I started this blog, because it was something I wanted for such a long time, but was too afraid I have nothing to offer. But I guess sometimes you just have to do things that scare you the most in order to get life-changing moments in your life.
SO what I'm trying to say is, don't be afraid. Don't ever let anybody let you feel that what you accomplished in life is worthless and even more important, learn to love yourself! I'm trying to do this for the first time in my life and it's gonna take a lot of time but I truly believe that accepting myself for who I am will eventually be the most life changing moment of my life!

New stuff makes me happy

So I went on Asos.com because I've been looking for a new bag to start off the new busy years and I wasn't able to find anything that I liked. SO after searching for about 2 minutes I instantly fell in love with this bag from NEW LOOK! And guess what; it was on sale!!

And here is just one a of the very simple ways I would style the bag for a weekend getaway when the weather will get a little bit more chilly :)
