2014 Vision Board

Ok, so most people make these vision boards in January, when everybody is all hyped about changes and new opportunities... and the vision board is a trending topic for about 2 weeks ;) That's why I made my vision board in March, when I've had enough time to think about what I really want in 2014.

You can check out my visual vision board (that's a mouthful ;)  ) on my Pinterest account but I'll list my top 3 plans for 2014 here. If you have a vision board, you can share it with me and if you have any suggestions on what else I should put on my board, please do share ;)

1. Get a French buldog. I am sooo in love with dogs and although we have a family dog (shi tzu named Balti), I want to get my own dog and name him Reggie :)

2. Move into my own place and decorate the sh** out of it! And also have a lovely and motivating home office from where my business can grow.

3. Travel somewhere where the beach amazes me. Any suggestions? :)

Drugstore London Haul

Ok, so if you follow me on Instagram (bysarabelle) you know I went to LONDON!! Again :)! I just can't get tired of it! :) And for the first time I really focused not just on clothes but also on the make up. I didn't go crazy but I managed to gain a lovely London make up collection :) Here it is :)

 Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer (16)- I actually bought 2 of these because I loved it so much :) It has good coverage and it really smooths out nicely :)

Collection 2000 Blush (4-Trouble)- It is such a beautiful shimmery pink colour and it's perfect for the spring :)

Charles Worthington Strenght & Repair Heat Defence Spray- I got the travel size because I just wanted to try it out and I really can't make up my mind about this product since sometime it leaves my hair silky and smooth and sometimes its just too heavy on my hair. What do you think?

Batiste Dry Shampoo XXL Volume- Ok, I am completely in love with this dry shampoo! It is the first product that actually give you XXL volume so I use it even if I've just washed my hair just to give it that extra Umf! :)

Mac Studio Fix Fluid (NW20)- This is a really good foundation for anyone that has as many imperfections on their skin as I do. It has amazing coverage, I think I actually got the colour right this time so I am super happy with this product and it even has SPF 15!

Rimmel Stay Matt Pressed Powder (003- Peach Glow)- Can we just have a moment to realize how absolutely amazing this product is?! This is by far the best powder I have ever used on my skin and the matt effect actually works! LOve, love, love!

Primark Nail polish remover pads- you know that time when you bought remover pads when they first came out? And remember how you hated them? Well these are actually worth buying since the actually get your nail polish off :) and for just 1 pound they were a bargain!

Primark Hand Sanitiser Gel- Does the job and smells nice-that's about it :)

 Sleek iDivine Original Pallet- Perfect combination of colours, the eyeshadows have quite a shimmery effect so for a daytime look I usually use them in combination with a more matt pallet but other than that-love <3

Ted Baker Body Spray- Hmm.. I don't know. I don't really like this smell but I can't figure out why. There is something spicy in it that I don't like but if you love spicy fresh scents than this will probably be the body spray for you :)

September Favorites

So a month has already passed and I was so busy that I don't know when that happend :) Here are my monthly favorites:

Favorite moment of the month?

 - Learning I was accepted into my Master’s degree! Now I’ve already started with my classes and I have to say I’m really happy with them :) 

And the second favorite moment was definitely our trip to  HVAR which is now one of my favorite summer destinations! You can check out the pictures here (Saying Goodbye To Summer)

Favorite movie?

-          The Perks of Being A Wallflower

Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time. I've been wanting to watch it for sooo long and when I finally did I feel in love with it. I also love the soundtrack; it has some cool songs on it. The movie is basically of anyone that ever felt like they didn't belong or just wanted to change something about themselves or their life. I highly recommend it!

Favorite fashion find?

-          A small but big bag (if you know what I mean ;)) that I got from six and I actually featured on my previous blog post. It’s silver and I can put everything I need in it and it was only 8€!!

Favorite make up or hair product?

  Crème Puff pressed powder from Max Factor

It’s really light on my skin, still offers the right amount of coverage and doesn’t clog up my pores which is always a good thing

A year of inspiration

So since I consider September to be my "New Year" resolutions month, I have made some decisions about the year that is coming. I really want to change some things and most of all I want to live a little. So one of the changes I'm gonna make is becoming better at my new passion which is graphic design and photography. Its really sad that you find your true calling so late but the least you can do is put as much effort into becoming better at it as you can. Next thing is trying new things. I realized that you learn the most about yourself when you are faced with a new challenge and that is why i want to try as many new things as possible! Find a new passion, do something I've been afraid to do for a long time, say YES to more things and most of all, meet new people! You learn so much from new friends and they introduce you to so many new experiences and opportunities.

One of the most important things in my year of inspiration has to be traveling. I am so passionate about traveling but in connection to my anxiety problems find it hard sometimes. The amount of phicological preparation it takes me to get on a plane is insane! But I have some must have destinations i have to visit in the next year:
-Rome: even though I've been before and didn't like it, I want to go again and view it with different eyes.
-London: I've been like 8times but it's absolutely my favorite European city and I'm so in love with it that I'm seriously thinking about moving there.
-Milan: Fashion, fashion, fashion!!
-Bali and Gili: My boyfriends parents are thinking about moving there and Bali has been a must-have destination of mine for so long so it would be kind of stupid of me not to go :)
- Sweden or Norway: I've never been so that just seems reason enough :)


And the last thing i want to achieve is stop being afraid. Get over my anxiety and depression and realize that my life is in my hands. Even if you believe you're not on the right path, its in your hands or should I say feet :) to change that path. Although I talk a good talk, in reality I'm still not aware of this so it would be just super duper if I coud become aware of this im ny year of inspiration :)

So thats about it. Of course I want to continue to write my blog, gain more readers and maybe, just maybe inspire someone.

August Favorites

Ok, so September is here, saying goodbye to summer although I hope we still get to enjoy some "Hot summer days" in September too. I thought I'd do a monthly favorites for the fist time, just because it seems like a fun thing to do. So I'm gonna do it... And I can't wait... So here we go... :)

Favorite moment of the month?

- Just in general spending time with my friends, catching up and making plans for the future :)

Favorite book?

I've read so many books this summer but my favorite in August was The Devil Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger. I loved it because it reminded me of my old job (same environment, same "healthy-food" obsessed people and the same feeling of having to work there for just a little longer! And of course the book is filled with fashion which is always a plus for me :)

Favorite movie?

- The Great Gatsby-yeah it was my favorite movie of August but I didn't really get to watch a lot of movies last month and in general Gatsby was a little bit disappointing. Maybe I was hyped about it too much since I heard so many good reviews but it was just a good movie, one that you don't think about after it's finished.

Favorite fashion find?

- So I've wanted this jacket ever since I saw it on Vanessa Paradise but they never had my size :( and then one time I walk into H&M and go to the SALE area (which is where I feel like home) and see this jacket, not in my size but still in a size that looks good on me :) and on sale!! My but was clpping with joy all the was to the cashier :)

 

Favorite make up or hair product?

- I bought the Pantene Aqua Light Nourishing Mask and I love it! It makes my hair soft and it smells amazing. Although I'm currently looking for something to really hydrate my hair since the sun and the sea have ruined the living daylights out of it :) Any suggestions??

Saying goodbye to summer...

So I've spent the past week in one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. The island Hvar. We stayed in a small fishing town called Jelsa and I can't remember the last time I cried because I had to go home! Had the most chilled out week in a very long time and am already planning on returning next year! I really highly recommend it  :)
